iRingPro, the originator of iPhone Ringtones for Professionals, will post a free downloadable trial pack of its popular iPhone ringtones at iRingPro today.
“We talk a lot about the subtle advances that iRingPro has made in the design of ringtones, but you just don’t appreciate what a profound impact these changes can have on your daily life, not to mention your state of mind, until you live with them.” says iRingPro founder Joel Hladecek. “We’re giving away some of our ringtones for free to expose more users to the product and the iRingPro lifestyle.”
Hladecek is used to raised eyebrows when he explains the benefits of using iRingPro’s ringtones. But he is increasingly accompanied by a growing customer base that shares his enthusiasm.
“At first you think – how different could they be? They’re just ringtones. But that ‘little difference’ has a huge impact when you extend it across the number of times your phone rings every day,” said one poster on iRingPro’s message board. “I’ll confess I didn’t really appreciate it until I used them for a week – and I never want a typical ringtone again.”
Dave Caolo of TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) said of iRingPro “..they really do sound good, in fact I use them today.”
MacWorld printed, “Hot Stuff…these are the ringtones for you.”
“When your phone rings, it’s always an interruption.” says audio engineer and co-creator Jeff Essex. “iRingPro has literally designed around that. And we’ve identified a number of ancient, phone-use conventions that are grossly outdated – their roots in a wired-phone culture. We’ve thrown those out the window, and asked – if we could start over, what should a phone sound like, and more importantly, how it should behave? Sometimes a simple idea can have a big impact, and for a lot of people iRingPro is one of those things.”
The free iPhone ringtone download contains a sample ringtone from each collection including iRingPro’s Tek Collection- a series of ringers inspired by the sophisticated, futuristic devices imagined in movies, the Origin Collection- a suite inspired by the origins of music, and the Zen 2 Collection- a recently upgraded suite of the world’s least intrusive ringtones and the company’s originating collection.
The free iPhone ringtones also include a coupon code that may be used for a discount in the purchase of any complete collection.
“Try the free samples and you’ll see.” Adds Hladecek, “Our devices have taken control of us. iRingPro just takes some of that control back.”

Research shows that presentation and communication skills are directly linked to career enhancement and job performance. Rexi Media has recently upgraded Presenter Pro, an iPhone app that enables you to acquire outstanding presentation skills and use them to wow customers, colleagues, bosses, or interviewers. Combining visuals, audio, and video examples with an attractive and educational approach, Presenter Pro will get you ready for your next interview.
“Just go in there and be yourself” is the advice that you typically hear from others who know you are about to get interviewed. Being yourself is not enough. You have to be your “best self”. Each time you go to an interview, consider yourself a presenter – and the subject of the presentation is you. Here are several sections in the Presenter Pro that can help with your next job interview:
1. Structure: Access this section to learn how to prepare and structure any topics that you may want to address. Give special attention to creating a better beginning for your interview. Keep in mind that 70% of interviewers make up their mind in the first 3 minutes. Using the information in the Structure section, you increase your chances of creating a first favorable impression.
2. Words: Interviewers are impressed by candidates who can communicate effectively and come across as articulate and smooth. Use the Words section to learn which phrases can help you come across as confident, enthusiastic, resourceful, truthful, and eager about your career. These are characteristics that interviewers consider important for the ideal candidate.
3. Voice: Your voice is one of the most important tools you posses for engaging and inspiring interviewers. It is second only to the eyes in terms of influencing others. In this section, you learn how to develop a voice that sounds clear, strong, sincere, natural, and expressive. A good speaking voice is the product of constant practice. You can improve by completing the exercises included in this section, which are focused on volume, pitch, articulation, and emphasis.
4. Gestures: Effective gestures clarify and support your message, add dramatic interest to your ideas, and stimulate interviewer involvement. Your gestures and facial expressions are usually unconscious – they reflect your attitudes, beliefs and moods. To interview better, you need to be conscious of your own body language and understand the power and impact of your gestures. Pay extra attention to the Gestures section in the app because gestures provide 55% or more of the impact of your interview. The recommendations in this section help you to express yourself in an engaging and effective manner, and also help you stay true to your natural gestures that contribute to your uniqueness.
Presenter Pro has recently been updated with a new feature, called Rate Me. Using this feature, you can ask others to rate you during a practice presentation for your interview. Or you can rate other friends’ presentations or interview preparations, save their scores, and email them later. The app also features a comprehensive quiz, which helps you test your knowledge of presentation skills. It is now under 10mb so anyone can download it without wifi and the updates are an easy process.
Use Rexi Media’s Presenter Pro to help put yourself in the top 6% of candidates who do get a call back. Whether you just got hired or already have a job, you can continue using Presenter Pro to perfect your presentation skills so you can outperform.

Independent game developer group Touch Foo today released a free version of its highly acclaimed 2D platforming game “Soosiz”. In Soosiz, the player assumes the role of a hero, running and jumping around different surfaces and obstacles, rescuing his friends, killing monsters and collecting coins. Since its release in October, Soosiz has received glowing reviews by critics and many have already titled it as one of the best platforming games for the iPhone and iPod touch.
The game has been inspired by many classic platformers, but the traditional gameplay in Soosiz is spiced up by a changing gravity. Each platform has its own gravity, which allows the player character to run at the bottom of the platforms as well as on top of them. This allows for interesting level design and gameplay elements, which make the player to look for totally new kinds of solutions.
“The most important design aspect of Soosiz has been to achieve excellent playability,” said Ville Mäkynen, one of the founders of Touch Foo. “We experimented with several iPhone-style control schemes like accelerometer and slide-to-move controls, but they couldn’t match the precision and simplicity of classical button controls. This is why we chose to use a control system similar to platformers on other devices, but simplified it by having only the left, right and jump keys. Especially for a fast-paced game like Soosiz, this has worked very well.”
Soosiz Lite Features:
* Polished concept and simple controls
* Beautiful cartoon graphics and smooth animations
* Level design taken to new dimensions
* Captivating background music by Kevin MacLeod
* Option to listen to your own music while playing
Paid Version Additional Features:
* 7 different worlds
* 65 stages with difficulty level ranging from easy to very challenging
* 7 epic boss battles
* Numerous secrets hidden throughout the worlds

Announcing that Smart Apps Solutions Inc., the developers of Black Friday Wish 1.0, has released an app that is guaranteed to help iPhone and iPod Touch users find out where most of the best deals are located this holiday season. Working only with deals that are checked and verified by a human staff, Black Friday Wish receives a consistent feed of sale information and locations. What this means to the app’s users is that they no longer have to search online or on foot to locate the best deals known.
Two of the most popular elements of the Black Friday Wish app are the search and the wish list features. Use a keyword or do product searches to find the items that you’re looking for. If they are not already present in the published deals, you add them to your wish list. When the item you want shows up in any of a store’s deals, you will see the deals under wish list with the price and location. Information is organized by store to help people plan their best shopping routes. This is meant to cut down on trips and time spent shopping.
The Black Friday Wish app was designed for the sharing of lists, too. You can send yours to a friend or get theirs sent to you. This helps with purchasing gifts that the recipient really wants. Black Friday Wish works anywhere and was developed to accompany users while shopping. You don’t need any kind of internet connection once the deals have been downloaded. Short of having a personal shopper, Black Friday Wish is the best holiday shopping aid available, especially for those who dislike crowds or want the best deals.
