Vancouver, Canada. NonLinear Software has released the public beta of a new Mac desktop application called “appOmator” that allows anyone to make an iPhone app, no software programming experience required!

The appOmator software is now available as a free download from appOmator.com. Using a simple drag and drop interface, appOmator users can create an iPhone app in less than an hour.

The appOmator software allows you to easily build custom menus with buttons that play videos and audio tracks, link to slideshows, and display RSS feeds or web pages that can pull dynamic content form the Internet directly into your iApp. Unlike other iPhone App building services that let you upload content into pre-baked template apps, appOmator gives you full control over how your finished app looks and functions.
