Hillsborough, New Jersey – CR Digital Design, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of AppDictions. AppDictions brings you all the information you need about new and existing applications for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. AppDictions filters through the 350,000+ apps in the App Store to bring you up-to-date on relevant news regarding apps, as well as providing detailed app reviews. The website gives developers the resource to advertise their app, gain useful review information for future updates, see what the public has to say about their app, and the ability to introduce new and existing features to the AppDictions community. AppDictions gives iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch user helpful information about applications to aid in their app purchase.
Developers can choose from two different types of reviews. First a Spotlight Review which includes a full description of their app covering key features and a App review by AppDictions. The review will be added to the Spotlight Section (630 x 230 Graphic) of the AppDictions home page and also on the Spotlight App Page. When a user clicks on the ad they will see a description, features, app related links, and the AppDictions team review. Reviews are based on the functionality, design, and usability of applications which then generates a 5 star rating.
Unlike other review sites, AppDictions leave the same star feedback in iTunes for each application. Apps will show in the 630 x 230 spot for approximately 48 hrs or for the length of time it takes for other developers to submit additional Spotlight ads, but the app remains on the Spotlight Page indefinitely. The second option is a basic Featured Review which includes everything stated in the Spotlight Review except the display of a 630 x 230 ad at the top of the AppDictions website. Featured apps will display on the Featured Page indefinitely.
So whether you are a developer or AppDicted, AppDictions provides all information you need about iPhone, iPad and iPod applications.

Carrollton, Texas – Announcing 5 Minute Games, Inc., the developer of Famished Farm Animal Frenzy, has launched a new product for iPad users. The application is a dedicated iPad game for up to four players to enjoy at the same time, essentially becoming a modern version of that favorite classic, the board game. Famished Farm Animal Frenzy is fun for all ages and kids will love this easy-to-use, family friendly app as much as adults.
To play Famished Farm Animal Frenzy, users select one of four different barnyard animals then try to get them to eat more of the 3D melons that are being flung around than the other animals do. The melon throwing is courtesy of the gophers, who pop up out of their holes to toss food to the farm animals. Anyone familiar with the game called Hungry Hungry Hippos, will find that this is reminiscent of that once popular children’s board game.
Up to four people can play a game of Famished Farm Animal Frenzy. They just gather around the iPad and play from the side that their selected animal is on. It’s like playing a traditional board game on a modern device with great graphics, folk music and funny sound effects.
These are some of the features highlighted in Famished Farm Animal Frenzy
* Fun and exciting game app developed exclusively for the iPad
* Appropriate for all ages
* Up to 4 players can play at one time
* Fast action
* Choice of 4 animals
* Multi-touch controls
* 3D melons roll and bounce around in a chaotic frenzy
* Folk music plays during game
* Funny sound effects
* Gophers sit on sidelines and toss in melons

Vancouver (BC) Canada – Moving Tales Inc., producer of innovative and exciting 3D Animated Storybook Apps, today released an upgrade for the first story in its Classic World Tales series, The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross.
The Pedlar Lady v1.01 upgrade has a number of new features, including additional musical accompaniment and sound effects, random audio effect implementation and stability improvements. A free upgrade for existing users, The Pedlar is available for new iPad users at the App Store for $4.99.
“The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross is a completely unique and unforgettable iPad multi-media experience,” said Moving Tales’ founder, Matthew Talbot-Kelly. “Especially with these additional features. The newly-implemented random sounds in combination with the existing random alternate camera selections ensure there are literally thousands of unique viewings of the story. We’ve also added stability improvements and additional image and sound accents – for example, the jewel in Crow’s beak is now red, and we can hear the bumblebee and a lovely humming ditty from the pedlar herself.”
Moving Tales also announced that iPhone and localized Spanish versions of the The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross will be released imminently. “We are beta testing right now,” said Talbot-Kelly. “The app works, reads and plays beautifully. I am very encouraged by the iPhone/iPod touch user experience – it has an identical feature set to the iPad version, of course reformatted for the smaller screen. The intention is for all future Moving Tales to be released simultaneously for the iPad and iPhone platforms.”
The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross:
Inspired by the age-old tale of a man who becomes rich through a dream, The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross describes the journey of a poor pedlar woman who, guided by the shifting line between the real and the unreal, discovers a surprising and wonderful treasure.
Classic World Tales:
Each App in Moving Tales’ Classic World Tales series features film-caliber, sophisticated 3D animation and text, original music and evocative filmic sound effects to create imaginative interpretations and adaptations of classic folk tales, archetypal yarns and legends from around the world. The apps’ dynamic typographic layouts can be animated using the iPad’s accelerometer, incorporate randomly selected alternate perspectives to ensure no two viewings are alike, use Cover Flow-like navigation and include compelling, poetic voice-over narratives.
By presenting tales of transformation, truth, drama and humor using a state-of-the-art digital ‘mash-up’ of methods from the worlds of ebook publishing, graphic novels, film and interactive media, Moving Tales establishes a truly original and engaging new world of storytelling.
“We started Moving Tales to expand and explore storytelling on the iPad/iPhone platform,” said Matthew Talbot-Kelly, Founder, Producer and Director of Moving Tales. “Not just any stories, but tales with rich legacies, many of which have been told for millennia. We are taking these stories for a walk – rephrasing and reframing them in a way that is compelling and appropriate to this new platform. Although they have aspects of books, animated films, storytelling and interactive media, the result is greater than the sum of its parts. Our very bold intention is to develop the first great iPad/iPhone storybook app.”
About Matthew Talbot-Kelly:
Matthew Talbot-Kelly, is the Editor, Director and Producer of Moving Tales. Born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Toronto, Canada. After graduating with an architecture degree in 1990, Matthew’s interest in spatial and temporal movement evolved into a fascination with film animation. Since 1996, Matthew has worked internationally as a director, animator, digital artist, and designer. His animated short Blind Man’s Eye had its world premiere in the 2007 Venice Film Festival and screened all over the world. His new animated short The Trembling Veil of Bones premiered at the 2010 Palm Springs International Shortfest and began its festival circuit in June 2010. Matthew has been creating and illustrating stories since he was a young boy.
Next In The Series:
The Unwanted Guest – In this adaptation of a traditional Jewish folk tale, a poor old man, down on his luck and living in a tumbledown house, is visited by an unwelcome houseguest. The story tells of the old man’s attempt to rid himself of his surprising visitor once and for all.

Apple Inc. is racing to secure media content for its new iPad with hundreds of thousands of units pre-sold and soon to be released, officials said.
Apple is trying to convince more potential collaborators to offer television programs, digital newspapers and other content for downloading to the device, scheduled for release April 3, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.
The media interests are weighing the advantages of working with Apple against potential threats to their current sources of revenue, industry experts told the Journal.
Apple is tempering some of its initial ambitions for the tablet-style device amid reports consumer interest in the iPad is so strong that Apple could sell more iPads in the first three months than it sold iPhones in the three months after the smartphone’s debut, analysts said.
Apple officials declined to comment, the Journal said.
Apple is touting the new 9.7-inch touch-screen device as a revolutionary product that would let people play games, surf the Internet, watch video, and read books and newspapers.
