Focused on games and 3D applications, with playful interface that seeks to introduce innovative gameplay, Aleph Games launches on March 30 its first game for the platform of the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game was already accepted for sales in AppStore.
Through a series of games in the curious world of ants programmed for the future, Aleph, a technology enterprise from Brazil, choose for first release the game AntBlox, a set of physical simulation for IPhone and IPod Touch. One reason for the choice of the physical puzzle with ants was the success of this type of game, which is modeled on the World of Goo and Crayon Physics.
The history of AntBlox is simple — the focus of the game is the gameplay, the experience of gameplay. In it, the ant Antonia feeds on special apples. But apples are in different places, and build a path to it is not always easy.
The goal in each stage is to help the ant to reach the apple. For this, the player must build the road blocks. When you release the blocks, they fall to the ground, so when they are released is important. In addition, phases with earthquake, mud, among many others, make it more difficult to mount the path.
“The game takes advantage of the innovations of the iPhone / iPod touch, using the accelerometer as a method of interaction, with which the player control where the blocks are falling,” said Maicon Brauwers, one of the creators of the game. But the Aleph Games team is already thinking about the next game: “where the player will have to grow your nest, fight other insects, and even dominating other holes,” said Brauwers.

Apple iPad Reminds Us How Brands Succeed by Transforming Experiences — To borrow a line from Scrooge, “I’m as giddy as a drunken man.” With today’s Apple iPad intro, it feels like Christmas.
I was glued to Engadget’s live blogfeed of the announcement. Apple is leveraging its iPhone technology in a new tablet format, adding bells and whistles like unlocked, no contract, and cheap 3G data plans, a keyboard dock and the iBookstore.
But once again, as we’ve seen in the past with Apple, the whole is larger than the sum of the parts.
In the tech industry we pay homage to “innovation” as the ultimate springboard for leadership positioning and killer differentiation. Who does it better than Apple? Lots of companies make products, but only a few reinvent how we learn, communicate and experience. Remember trying to use a pre-iPod Mp3 player?
Mine was a Diamond Rio; frustrated and ticked off are two reactions that come to mind. Remember how you felt the first time you used an iPod? For me, it was the same feeling I get when I step foot in a new country. Wow, this is someplace different, and it’s cool, and a little scary but I’m happy to be here and I want to discover this new place. The iPod wasn’t just innovative because of its simple design and intuitive ease of use. T

Such underground inhabitances as ghosts, bats, spiders and cobwebs love to steal picks. The level lasts until you bring down the last gem (you win) or use your last pick (you fail).
The game has an easy to pick up tutorial and high scores table. RichMine for iPhone and iPod touch can greatly fill few free minutes during the day.

ThinkFlood (http://thinkflood.com/), maker of RedEye universal remote control products for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, today announced RedEye mini. RedEye mini is the affordable ($49), portable way to turn any iPhone, iPod touch or iPad into an advanced universal remote with free, integrated program/channel guide and infrared code database.
RedEye mini users can control their TVs, DVRs, stereos, game consoles, etc., whether they are at home or on the go, and can save button layouts for favorite activities such as, “Watch Blu-ray in Living Room,” “Listen to Music at Work,” or “Watch TV at Gym.”
“The second product in the RedEye line, the RedEye mini, continues our tradition of giving iPhone, iPod touch and iPad owners benefits previously available in remotes costing several times as much,” said ThinkFlood president and founder Matt Eagar. “We also think it’s pretty sweet that RedEye mini is the world’s smallest activity-based remote.”
Why choose RedEye mini?
- RedEye mini is the most affordable ($49), powerful, and customizable universal remote accessory for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The free RedEye app — available through the iTunes AppStore — is constantly evolving. RedEye mini users will frequently benefit from new features and functionality via software updates.
- Unlike other iPhone remotes, RedEye mini plugs into the headphone jack, which frees the dock connector for charging while while the remote is in use. This is a significant advantage because iPhone users will not have to flip their phones upside-down to use the remote, and having a low battery will never leave users stranded without a remote.
Why is RedEye mini the best portable universal remote for iPhone, iPod and iPad?
- Infrared Code Database & Learning Module — Large, continuously updated database of manufacturer-supplied remote codes for easy set-up. Or use the learning module to quickly train RedEye mini with commands from existing remotes.
- Program and Channel Guide — Free integrated electronic program guide allows users to access program and channel information without interrupting what is happening on the TV screen.
- Unlimited Device & Command Capacity — Control a virtually unlimited number of devices; store a virtually unlimited number of commands.
- Activity Remotes — Customize personal remotes for favorite activities. Example: select useful buttons from existing remotes and place them on one screen for easy access to just the commands needed at the moment.
- Macros – Customize buttons to send out a series of commands. Examples: touch one button to mute TV volume and turn on closed captioning; touch one button to jump to ESPN.
- Customizable control – Control equipment with touchscreen buttons, Apple’s Multi-Touch gestures, and accelerometer controls. Examples: swiping two fingers down the screen can lower volume; flicking the iPhone forward can change the channel.
RedEye mini will be available this spring through the ThinkFlood website (http://thinkflood.com/), as well as through participating dealers and retailers.
