When the NDA surrounding the iPad SDK is lifted, owners of version 1.0 will receive free access to version 2.0 including sample code and specific design guidelines.

Founder and CEO Joost Schreve said, “We are thrilled to launch the latest version of our iPhone app, which represents a significant redesign effort as well as tremendous additional functionality.  We wanted to recreate the same easy-to-use experience in our mobile app that we have on our website.  We can’t wait to see the adventures that users take with EveryTrail.”

The company also announced it closed an initial round of funding, which totaled $1 million.  The Band of Angels participated in the A round along with a group of domestic and international private investors.  Schreve said, “We were very pleased to have most of our earliest supporters reinvest in the company, as we expand our product offering, structure key partnerships, and build out our senior management team.”
